We are pleased to announce that we are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team.

Position Information and Requirements:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company's growth objectives across all distribution channels for Chilean seafood products, including Atlantic Salmon, Chilean Seabass, Swordfish, King Crab, Chilean Abalone, Mussels, and Blue Crab.

-Identify and develop new market segments and distribution opportunities in key U.S. markets—including Florida, Chicago, New York, and California—focusing on seafood distributors, supermarket chains, and foodservice accounts.

-Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with regional and national distributors, and supermarket chains that distribute Terra Austral’s Chilean seafood products in the United States.

-Manage and strengthen direct relationships with Chilean producers and exporters and coordinate with Chilean suppliers regarding export documentation, and compliance with U.S. import regulations, including FDA requirements, cold chain certifications, and customs clearance processes.

-Oversee and optimize online sales strategies for www.terra-austral.com, ensuring efficient cold-chain storage, logistics, and distribution processes that comply with FDA and HACCP standards for imported seafood.

-Direct the development of sales budgets, analyze data, U.S. market trends, projections, and performance reports for presentation to senior management. Technical knowledge of Chilean seafood species—including Atlantic Salmon, Chilean Sea Bass, Swordfish, King Crab, Chilean Abalone, Mussels, and Blue Crabs—covering quality grading, cuts, size standards, fresh vs. frozen handling, and seasonal availability. : Travel Details Florida, Chicago, New York, and California once a month.

Will travel to Chile 2,3 times a month.
